Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or similar technical pre-sales role supporting enterprise or government customers.
- Strong background in fraud prevention, identity, risk, or compliance domains, with preferred experience in federal or public sector use cases.
- Proven success working with U.S. federal agencies, systems integrators, or government contractors in complex sales environments.
- Deep understanding of federal procurement and compliance frameworks, including FAR/DFARS, FedRAMP, FISMA, NIST 800-53, CMMC, and ATO processes.
- Strong technical fluency with API-based products, including ability to read code and work with formats like JSON; familiarity with languages such as Python or JavaScript is a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical stakeholders and senior government executives.
- Strong analytical and consultative skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into mission-driven outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Partner with federal account executives to identify agency needs in fraud prevention, identity verification, and compliance across civilian, defense, and intelligence sectors.
- Design and deliver tailored technical demonstrations aligned to federal use cases such as benefits fraud, payment integrity, identity proofing, and AML compliance.
- Support federal security and IT stakeholders by articulating security architecture, guiding ATO (Authority to Operate) processes, and completing security questionnaires and compliance reviews.
- Lead responses to federal RFPs, RFIs, Sources Sought, and other procurement artifacts, ensuring technical accuracy and alignment with mission requirements.
- Develop detailed solution designs aligned with federal compliance frameworks including FISMA, FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, and related security standards.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product and engineering teams to identify federal-specific requirements and influence roadmap prioritization.
- Contribute to the evolution of federal sales engineering processes, tools, and best practices to improve scalability and win rates.
