Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or related field.
- 1-3 years of laboratory, research, or industry experience.
- Previous sales or business development experience in SaaS, life sciences, or laboratory informatics (preferred).
- Understanding of scientific research workflows and data management challenges.
- Strong interest in transitioning from bench science to a commercial/sales career.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Comfort with high-volume outbound prospecting.
- Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
- Strong organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Generate qualified sales opportunities through strategic outbound prospecting (cold calling, email, LinkedIn).
- Qualify inbound leads from marketing campaigns, webinars, and trade shows.
- Schedule meetings for Account Executives.
- Engage in credible conversations with researchers and lab managers regarding scientific workflows.
- Identify pain points related to ELN, LIMS, and data visualization.
- Maintain accurate records in Salesforce CRM.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly quotas.
- Collaborate with Account Executives and Marketing teams.
