Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of laboratory, research, or industry experience.
  • Previous sales or business development experience in SaaS, life sciences, or laboratory informatics (preferred).
  • Understanding of scientific research workflows and data management challenges.
  • Strong interest in transitioning from bench science to a commercial/sales career.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Comfort with high-volume outbound prospecting.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
  • Strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Generate qualified sales opportunities through strategic outbound prospecting (cold calling, email, LinkedIn).
  • Qualify inbound leads from marketing campaigns, webinars, and trade shows.
  • Schedule meetings for Account Executives.
  • Engage in credible conversations with researchers and lab managers regarding scientific workflows.
  • Identify pain points related to ELN, LIMS, and data visualization.
  • Maintain accurate records in Salesforce CRM.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly quotas.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives and Marketing teams.
