Requirements

  • 3+ years in operations management, medical administration, or a comparable role.
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills.
  • Experience with cash-pay or direct-to-consumer medical billing.
  • Rigorous approach to patient confidentiality and HIPAA-compliant document management.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and EMR or telehealth platform tools.
  • Self-directed with strong deadline management.
  • Available across US Eastern time zone.

Responsibilities

  • Manage patient invoicing, cash-pay billing cycles, and payment reconciliation.
  • Liaise with care operations and finance teams on outstanding billing matters.
  • Maintain patient records and intake forms in full HIPAA compliance.
  • Coordinate document requests such as lab results and medical history.
  • Serve as first point of contact for inbound patient queries.
  • Triage clinical questions to the appropriate clinician or care team.
  • Support scheduling, vendor coordination, and administrative workflows.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs for recurring operational tasks.
