Requirements
- 3+ years in operations management, medical administration, or a comparable role.
- Excellent written and verbal English skills.
- Experience with cash-pay or direct-to-consumer medical billing.
- Rigorous approach to patient confidentiality and HIPAA-compliant document management.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and EMR or telehealth platform tools.
- Self-directed with strong deadline management.
- Available across US Eastern time zone.
Responsibilities
- Manage patient invoicing, cash-pay billing cycles, and payment reconciliation.
- Liaise with care operations and finance teams on outstanding billing matters.
- Maintain patient records and intake forms in full HIPAA compliance.
- Coordinate document requests such as lab results and medical history.
- Serve as first point of contact for inbound patient queries.
- Triage clinical questions to the appropriate clinician or care team.
- Support scheduling, vendor coordination, and administrative workflows.
- Develop and maintain SOPs for recurring operational tasks.
