- Track record of open-source contributions
Responsibilities
- Conduct 4 months of full-time empirical AI safety research
- Collaborate directly with Anthropic researchers and mentors
- Work on projects such as scalable oversight or mechanistic interpretability
- Produce public research outputs or paper submissions
- Utilize external infrastructure and public APIs for empirical projects
