Requirements
- CPA designation (required).
- 3-5+ years of progressive experience in financial reporting, FP&A, or corporate accounting.
- Strong understanding of ASPE accounting standards and operational finance.
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
- Experience with ERP and FP&A tools.
- Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
- Clear communication skills with the ability to partner across teams.
- Foundational understanding of AI and large language models (LLMs).
Responsibilities
- Oversee preparation and review of monthly financial statements in accordance with ASPE.
- Execute complex reconciliations and journal entries with focus on SaaS revenue recognition.
- Support annual audits, tax filings, and maintain internal financial controls.
- Lead month-end close and reporting cycles.
- Develop and maintain KPI dashboards for stakeholders.
- Consolidate inputs for annual budget and financial forecasting.
- Construct and refine dynamic financial models to forecast business performance.
- Conduct variance analysis and interpret key financial trends.
- Optimize accounting and FP&A systems to enhance automation and collaboration.
