Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in at least one U.S. state bar.
- 4+ years of legal experience, preferably with a combination of large law firm and in-house experience.
- Strong experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts.
- Experience advising business stakeholders on legal and operational risk.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities independently.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience implementing AI-assisted legal workflows and contract management is a plus.
- Experience working in technology, ecommerce, SaaS, advertising, or digital media environments is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, negotiate, and manage commercial agreements including customer, vendor, partnership, and SaaS contracts.
- Partner with sales, marketing, product, HR, and leadership to provide practical legal guidance.
- Support the privacy and security team on privacy, data protection, and regulatory matters.
- Identify legal and operational risks and provide clear recommendations.
- Help build scalable legal processes, templates, and workflows to improve efficiency.
- Assist with corporate, operational, and strategic legal matters.
