Requirements
- 8–12+ years of progressive finance experience
- At least 3 years in a leadership role (Controller, Director, or VP Finance) at high-growth SaaS or technology company
- Deep experience with US multi-state tax compliance
- Hands-on experience with ASC 606 revenue recognition
- Track record of improving month-end close processes
- Experience managing distributed (onshore/offshore) teams
- CPA, CA, or equivalent qualification
- Technology fluent with SaaS products and AI tools
- Advanced Excel skills and financial modeling proficiency
Responsibilities
- Own month-end and quarter-end close process across international entities
- Oversee revenue recognition for multi-element arrangements
- Manage consolidation across 4+ entities
- Own annual audit relationship and drive audit-readiness
- Manage multi-state sales tax compliance and state income tax filings
- Oversee subcontractor compliance and music licensing
- Drive finance systems roadmap and implement automation
- Build and document internal control framework
- Manage distributed teams in US and offshore
- Lead annual budgeting process and strategic financial support
