Requirements
- Bachelor’s of Science degree from a 4-year accredited university.
- 5+ years of experience in a pre-sales technical, customer success, or support role.
- Ability to influence stakeholders with technical sales acumen and business process understanding.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Experience managing hardware and/or software product evaluations.
- Basic understanding of electronics and electrical systems.
- Experience with cloud software, cloud-connected hardware, computer networking, and business systems integration.
- Working knowledge of integration standards and transports (XML, REST, SOAP, EDI).
- Experience integrating with RESTful APIs between SaaS applications.
Responsibilities
- Support senior-level sellers to grow existing customers or win new customers.
- Contribute to the SE Team as a senior resource and share best practices.
- Conduct product demonstrations and facilitate live proof-of-concept trials.
- Respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs.
- Collaborate with Product Management to help develop the Samsara platform.
- Source and deliver product information and conduct testing of alpha products/features.
- Manage projects and build process improvements and automation for the broader SE Team.
- Carry and retire a sales quota.
