Requirements
- Valid license to practice medicine & DEA license in home state
- Must be eligible and willing to obtain licenses in multiple states
- At least 1 year of Buprenorphine prescribing experience in family, internal, addiction, or psychiatric medicine
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to build provider-patient relationships
- Comfort with risk/benefit balancing and problem-solving
- Ability to share in on-call needs
Responsibilities
- Provide assessment and treatment for a continuity of panel of up to 275 adults with Opioid Use Disorder
- Provide diagnosis of Opioid Use Disorder and co-occurring mental health conditions
- Safely and effectively start treatment with buprenorphine-naloxone
- Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Collaborate with the care team to coordinate additional services
- Participate in clinical team meetings and practice improvement
- Utilize web-based EMR platform to manage patient care
