Conduct psychiatric evaluations, including intake assessments, for patients in the PHP/IOP programs.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on psychiatric assessment findings.
Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications, monitoring for effectiveness and side effects.
Provide ongoing medication management and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Work closely with therapists, social workers, and other team members to coordinate care for patients.
Provide crisis intervention and support when needed, particularly in a PHP/IOP setting.
Participate in clinical team meetings, case reviews, and treatment planning discussions.
Document all patient interactions and treatment in accordance with agency policies and regulatory requirements.
Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and medication management.
Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical standards for the delivery of psychiatric services.
