Requirements
- 7-10+ years in analytics or data science.
- 3+ years leading data teams, preferably in B2B SaaS, marketplace, or data products.
- Direct experience with CPG or retail data.
- Proven track record of shipping customer-facing data products.
- Hands-on proficiency with SQL and modern data stacks.
- Expertise in dbt, semantic modeling, data visualization, Python, pandas, and AI/ML tools.
- Experience with category management, pricing optimization, or supply chain management.
- Strong communication skills with experience presenting to leadership.
- Ability to operate with a bias for action in cross-functional environments.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the VP of Product on data strategy that drives platform differentiation and network effects.
- Develop customer-facing analytics including aggregated insights, pricing intelligence, and performance benchmarks.
- Equip Operations with intelligence for customer liquidation strategies.
- Identify and commercialize data-driven products and premium offerings.
- Define and deliver marketplace liquidity metrics for leadership and the Board.
- Strengthen internal adoption of data and AI/ML in business execution.
- Recruit, lead, and develop a high-impact data team.
- Collaborate with Engineering to ensure data quality and accessibility.
