Requirements
- Qualified lawyer admitted in a common law jurisdiction (England & Wales, Ireland, or equivalent)
- Master of Laws Degree or membership in good standing of a recognized international bar is a plus
- Experience in IT, Intellectual Property or Data Privacy Law
- Fluent written and verbal English language skills
- Prior in-house legal experience in the tech sector, ideally with exposure to the US software industry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High-level negotiation and legal drafting skills
Responsibilities
- Provide legal support for Coupa’s Go-To-Market sales organization across EMEA
- Negotiate and draft various commercial documents, such as SaaS master subscription agreements, DPAs, AI terms, professional services agreements, partner agreements, and regulatory addenda
- Monitor and triage service desk tickets
- Advise on regulatory and customer compliance requirements across the EU/EEA
- Partner closely with the Sales, Finance, Product, Privacy, Security and Deal Desk teams
- Resolve customer success issues
- Collaborate with legal and cross-functional stakeholders to help standardize documentation
- Develop training materials and deliver ad-hoc sales enablement sessions
