- At least 5 years selling high-end technology software solutions to R&D and engineering teams
- Strong hunting and prospecting skills
- Demonstrated ability to build trusted advisor relationships
- Strong listening and communication skills
- Experience developing new leads and targeted account selling
- Proficiency with Salesforce.com
- Track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
- Experience selling to OEMs, system integrators, and contract design firms
- Demonstrated success using a consultative, solutions-oriented approach
- Ability to travel within the territory
Responsibilities
- Partner with Field Application Engineers to present and sell software and services
- Seek new business through prospecting, cold calling, and networking
- Plan and schedule onsite customer meetings
- Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to develop solutions
- Manage the full sales process from lead management to closing
- Work with Customer Success and Professional Services teams to support onboarding
- Drive customer retention and upselling
- Forecast and track key territory metrics
- Meet sales quotas
