Requirements
- Bachelor's in CS, IT, Engineering or related field with 12+ years of experience.
- Master's in CS, IT, Engineering or related field with 10+ years of experience.
- 16+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
- 8+ years of progressive leadership in data engineering, cloud architecture, or enterprise platforms.
- 4+ years in a director or senior leadership role.
- Deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP) at enterprise scale.
- Experience building and scaling enterprise data platforms.
- Proven track record establishing data governance frameworks.
- Executive-level communication skills.
- Experience managing cross-functional, matrixed teams.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute enterprise data and cloud strategy and multi-year roadmaps.
- Architect and govern cloud environment (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) across public, private, and hybrid models.
- Design and implement enterprise data architecture including lakes, warehouses, and pipelines.
- Establish and enforce enterprise data governance, quality, and metadata management.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of architects, engineers, and analysts.
- Drive adoption of advanced analytics, BI, and AI/ML capabilities.
- Manage FinOps, cloud budgets, and cost optimization.
- Ensure compliance with ITAR, CMMC, FedRAMP, and U.S. government mandates.
- Manage strategic vendor and technology partner relationships.
- Partner with CIO to present strategy and progress to executive leadership and the board.
