Requirements
- 10+ years of related experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Experience managing z/OS, ISV, and Subsystem upgrades.
- Experience leading large-scale Mainframe teams in software currency and patch management environments.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to manage up, down, and across the organization.
- Expertise in mainframe infrastructure, hardware, or system programming.
- Experience leading complex projects and programs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Project.
- High learning agility for mainframe technologies.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and strategic direction to functional teams.
- Manage Mainframe infrastructure, z/OS, and ISV/Subsystem upgrades.
- Lead adoption of AI-driven operations, z/OSMF workflows, and Ansible for z/OS.
- Drive innovation by embedding AI/ML and automation into service models.
- Influence internal and external stakeholders at multiple levels.
- Partner with solutioning and sales teams for presales efforts.
- Coach, mentor, and lead managers to build an engaged team.
- Ensure audit readiness, compliance, and governance across engagements.
- Define and drive completion of departmental goals aligned to KPIs.
