Requirements

  • 7+ years experience in renewable energy preconstruction, estimating, commercial management, or project delivery.
  • 3+ years of people leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
  • Advanced understanding of solar PV and/or BESS project delivery.
  • Deep experience with EPC contracting, procurement strategy, and cost controls.
  • Experience with Basis of Estimate documentation and project execution planning.
  • Demonstrated ability to support operational processes and governance frameworks.
  • Strong analytical, financial, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Proficiency in navigating organizational complexity and cross-functional environments.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to translate complex issues for diverse audiences.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively across competing portfolio demands.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Preconstruction Managers and related delivery personnel.
  • Own a defined preconstruction book of business across multiple portfolios and technologies.
  • Drive consistency in project contracting, estimating standards, and handoff procedures.
  • Serve as a senior point of contact for internal leadership, contractors, and external stakeholders.
  • Oversee commercial contracting and pre-award execution activities.
  • Ensure consistent application of QA/QC principles and document control standards.
  • Collaborate on project cost intelligence, budget development, and value engineering.
  • Maintain portfolio-level scheduling standards and drive schedule accountability.
  • Ensure preconstruction activities align with compliance, tax, and regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as the primary risk manager for projects entering the execution pipeline.
