Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering experience building complex, production systems
- 2+ years of experience leading an engineering team
- Demonstrated player-coach experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with Python
- Experience with both NoSQL and SQL databases
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform or similar
- Proficiency in Domain-driven design, clean architecture, and CQRS
- Experience with event-driven architectures and microservices
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the codebase as a technical force multiplier
- Lead and develop a team of backend engineers
- Architect payment processing, fraud detection, and compliance systems
- Drive technical decisions and establish engineering standards
- Stay hands-on with coding and design reviews
- Lead cross-domain solutions across distributed microservices
- Partner with product and compliance teams
- Build engineering culture and manage delivery
