Requirements

  • 5+ years of enterprise security sales experience.
  • Demonstrated success selling Microsoft Security solutions across Azure and M365.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft commercial constructs (E3/E5/E7, MACC/EA/MCA, Azure consumption motions, Marketplace/private offers).
  • Proven track record co-selling with Microsoft field sellers (AE, CSA, GBB, Partner teams).
  • Consistent attainment of $2M+ annual quota selling cybersecurity or adjacent enterprise software.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to lead CISO- and CIO-level conversations.
  • Experience navigating complex, multi-threaded sales cycles across security, IT, and procurement stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

  • Own and exceed a multi-million-dollar ARR quota across a defined territory or vertical patch.
  • Build and execute a Microsoft co-sell strategy — develop relationships across AEs, CSAs/CSAMs, GBBs, STUs, and Partner Development Managers.
  • Position Tenex MDR alongside customers’ existing Microsoft Security investments.
  • Transact through the optimal commercial path for each customer: direct, Microsoft Marketplace, private offer, or Partner Center co-sell.
  • Run rigorous discovery, MEDDPICC/MEDDIC qualification, and executive value selling.
  • Partner with Sales Engineering, Detection Engineering, and Customer Success to scope, validate, and operationalize MDR engagements.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline hygiene, and account intelligence in CRM.
  • Represent Tenex at Microsoft field events, MISA gatherings, and industry conferences.
