Requirements
- Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, or CMA with 7+ years of experience, or MBA/M.Com in Finance with 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in billing operations, preferably in consumption-based or usage-based billing environments.
- Proficiency in NetSuite is strongly preferred.
- Exposure to Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
- Advanced Excel skills with capability in handling large datasets and complex reconciliations.
- Proven experience in managing and mentoring small teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize effectively and work in a fast-paced, global environment.
- Strong ownership mindset.
- Experience with marketplace billing (AWS, Azure, or similar) and subscription billing tools is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end billing operations across consumption-based, Direct, and Marketplace billing models, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
- Perform billing validations, reconciliations, and variance analysis between Marketplace data and NetSuite outputs.
- Oversee month-end and quarter-end close activities.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize reports, dashboards, and saved searches in NetSuite.
- Manage billing queries and communications.
- Partner with FP&A and GTM Operations teams to support forecasting, accruals, and revenue visibility.
- Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and operational efficiencies.
- Lead and manage a team of 4–5 billing professionals.
