Requirements

  • Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, or CMA with 7+ years of experience, or MBA/M.Com in Finance with 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience in billing operations, preferably in consumption-based or usage-based billing environments.
  • Proficiency in NetSuite is strongly preferred.
  • Exposure to Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
  • Advanced Excel skills with capability in handling large datasets and complex reconciliations.
  • Proven experience in managing and mentoring small teams.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and work in a fast-paced, global environment.
  • Strong ownership mindset.
  • Experience with marketplace billing (AWS, Azure, or similar) and subscription billing tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end billing operations across consumption-based, Direct, and Marketplace billing models, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
  • Perform billing validations, reconciliations, and variance analysis between Marketplace data and NetSuite outputs.
  • Oversee month-end and quarter-end close activities.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize reports, dashboards, and saved searches in NetSuite.
  • Manage billing queries and communications.
  • Partner with FP&A and GTM Operations teams to support forecasting, accruals, and revenue visibility.
  • Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and operational efficiencies.
  • Lead and manage a team of 4–5 billing professionals.
