Requirements
- BS or advanced degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 12+ years of software development experience in server-side applications (APIs, integrations, data processing).
- Expertise in a compiled language such as GoLang or Java.
- Proficiency with relational databases such as PostgreSQL (schema design, SQL tuning).
- Experience with Agentic Frameworks, MCP, LLM APIs (Anthropic/OpenAI), and Prompt Engineering/Evals.
- Working knowledge of GraphQL, CI/CD, AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Strong architectural mindset for scale, performance, and maintainability.
- Ability to explain technical trade-offs to stakeholders.
- Experience in high-growth startup environments.
- Non-dogmatic, team-first attitude and comfort with ambiguity.
Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and maintain product features using Golang, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node, GraphQL, and SQL.
- Translate requirements into high-quality, AI-native scalable software with scope and risk assessments.
- Build deterministic 'safety rails' around stochastic LLM models for healthcare data accuracy.
- Apply and enforce software design patterns and testing using emerging AI tools.
- Leverage AWS infrastructure including Lambda, Managed Kafka, and EKS.
- Perform production triage, root cause analysis, and long-term mitigation.
- Mentor junior engineers and drive technical excellence through code reviews.
- Work with senior leadership to define quarterly technical roadmaps.
