Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing or related field, MBA preferred.
  • Proven experience in sales management within optometry, eyecare, or medical device industries.
  • Strong knowledge of the optometry/ophthalmology market.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge and experience implementing best sales practices and tools.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated success in managing national accounts and achieving revenue growth.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Ability to travel nationally as required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand market share.
  • Work with direct and indirect sales channels to develop and execute localized tactical plans.
  • Manage and grow relationships with current National Accounts.
  • Identify opportunities for expansion and innovation within existing accounts.
  • Manage pricing and discounting to balance growth and profitability.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends and competitive dynamics.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Product Management teams to align strategies.
  • Build and maintain a robust professional network within the eyecare industry.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure alignment and execution of sales initiatives.
  • Monitor key performance indicator metrics, sales forecasts, and market share growth.
