Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing or related field, MBA preferred.
- Proven experience in sales management within optometry, eyecare, or medical device industries.
- Strong knowledge of the optometry/ophthalmology market.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge and experience implementing best sales practices and tools.
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated success in managing national accounts and achieving revenue growth.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
- Ability to travel nationally as required.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand market share.
- Work with direct and indirect sales channels to develop and execute localized tactical plans.
- Manage and grow relationships with current National Accounts.
- Identify opportunities for expansion and innovation within existing accounts.
- Manage pricing and discounting to balance growth and profitability.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends and competitive dynamics.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Product Management teams to align strategies.
- Build and maintain a robust professional network within the eyecare industry.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure alignment and execution of sales initiatives.
- Monitor key performance indicator metrics, sales forecasts, and market share growth.
