Requirements

  • 5-10 years of relevant experience preferably in the CPG and/or baking industry
  • 3-5 years of experience calling on National & large Regional retailers in the grocery, mass and club channels
  • Experience calling on Ahold Delhaize, Publix, Wegmans, Wakefern, Giant Eagle
  • Degree in Business or related discipline
  • Solid strategic sales and negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional project management, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency with computer applications including MS Office Suite

Responsibilities

  • Provide quality leadership and cultivate relationships for Silver Hills customers, brokers, and distributors
  • Manage all selling activities within the region working in partnership with internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop and forecast sales revenue goals for the region and execute effective market plans
  • Take ownership of the account specific promotional plans and volume forecasts
  • Demonstrate strategic selling skills using syndicated data and consumer insights
  • Seek, create, and develop new business opportunities within assigned accounts and the overall market
  • Manage retail account presentations and retail relationship to ensure satisfactory broker and distributor execution
  • Represent all Silver Hills brands at assigned trade shows
