Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 5+ years of experience in indirect procurement and strategic sourcing with deep expertise in IT.
- Proven experience developing category strategies and leading large-scale sourcing events.
- Strong background in supplier negotiations.
- Prior experience interfacing with clients and/or stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Demonstrated expertise in TCO modeling and data-driven decision-making.
- Experience driving change management and building cross-functional consensus.
- Strong knowledge of supplier ecosystems serving the IT categories.
- Proficient in MS Office applications, including Excel (analysis) and PowerPoint (presentations).
Responsibilities
- Support execution of sourcing strategies that deliver measurable results for our clients across the IT category.
- Engage directly with client stakeholders to identify category-specific priorities and challenges.
- Assume full ownership of the end-to-end RFP process.
- Lead evaluations of supplier proposals by applying TCO modeling.
- Develop and implement innovative cost-reduction strategies.
- Lead research and analytics efforts to validate savings projections.
- Build and manage best-in-class supplier ecosystems by category and region.
- Review major contracts and act as a subject matter expert for complex negotiations.
- Monitor and analyze spend, supplier performance, and savings targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships at all organizational levels.
