Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, or Insurance-related field
  • 10+ years of premium audit experience with multi-state WC and GL specialization
  • 5+ years of leadership experience, including management of managers and QA teams
  • Advanced understanding of NCCI / WCIRB / other state regulatory rules
  • Expertise in class code application, payroll validation, and audit documentation
  • Strong technical abilities and adaptability with evolving technical systems
  • Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

  • Own the full premium audit lifecycle for WC and GL lines of business
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing organization of managers and QA staff
  • Spearhead a comprehensive QA program for payroll and class code accuracy
  • Manage external audit vendors and partner with Finance on spend analysis
  • Enhance the audit customer journey to reduce friction and improve completion rates
  • Serve as operational lead for audit system automation and AI-centric tools
  • Refine and deliver reporting on production, quality trends, and performance
  • Resolve regulatory escalations and collaborate with internal departments
