Requirements

  • Proven experience selling flexible packaging, pouches, films, labels, or related packaging solutions for senior roles.
  • Existing relationships within consumer packaged goods manufacturing strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in high-performance B2B sales environments for adjacent industry candidates.
  • Strong hunter mentality with a track record of opening new accounts.
  • Ability to travel regularly and conduct in-person client meetings.
  • 1+ years of sales, business development, or customer-facing experience for junior roles.
  • Comfortable with high-volume outbound calling and prospecting for junior roles.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and self-driven attitude.
  • Willingness to learn technical manufacturing-based solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Drive new business development across assigned territory through outbound prospecting and in-person sales activity.
  • Travel regularly to meet with prospective and existing customers across the territory.
  • Identify, target, and secure new opportunities within consumer packaged goods and manufacturing sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with brand owners, manufacturers, and decision-makers.
  • Manage full sales cycle activity including outreach, meetings, proposals, negotiation, and closing.
  • Conduct face-to-face customer meetings, presentations, and site visits as a core part of the role.
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align customer needs with packaging solutions.
  • Expand existing accounts while continuously hunting for new business.
  • Maintain accurate reporting on pipeline activity, forecasts, and territory progress.
