Requirements
- 7-10 years of sales experience with a focus and knowledge of integrated partnership development
- Experience with agency or property/league level experience specific to brand partnerships
- Experience with generating leads and closing deals with national brands/partners
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Ability to follow through and meet deadlines while balancing multiple projects
- Exceptional oral, written, and presentation skills
- Solution-oriented, highly motivated, and proactive self-starter
- Must be willing to travel for client interaction and to be on-site at league locations, approximately 25% of the time
Responsibilities
- Generate and manage a robust sales pipeline broadening the reach and awareness of Athletes Unlimited and the AUSL
- Proactively identify, pitch, and close new partnership sales through existing relationships and cold outreach
- Identify and develop league-wide assets, programs and packages to maximize Athletes Unlimited value proposition
- Establish and implement sales and new business development strategies
- Attend and lead sales meetings and help craft sales materials
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders on assets and execution
- Maintain current knowledge of the sponsorship industry landscape and market trends
- Maintain entries for respective accounts in CRM system and other sales reporting tools
