Requirements

  • 7-10 years of sales experience with a focus and knowledge of integrated partnership development
  • Experience with agency or property/league level experience specific to brand partnerships
  • Experience with generating leads and closing deals with national brands/partners
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • Ability to follow through and meet deadlines while balancing multiple projects
  • Exceptional oral, written, and presentation skills
  • Solution-oriented, highly motivated, and proactive self-starter
  • Must be willing to travel for client interaction and to be on-site at league locations, approximately 25% of the time

Responsibilities

  • Generate and manage a robust sales pipeline broadening the reach and awareness of Athletes Unlimited and the AUSL
  • Proactively identify, pitch, and close new partnership sales through existing relationships and cold outreach
  • Identify and develop league-wide assets, programs and packages to maximize Athletes Unlimited value proposition
  • Establish and implement sales and new business development strategies
  • Attend and lead sales meetings and help craft sales materials
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders on assets and execution
  • Maintain current knowledge of the sponsorship industry landscape and market trends
  • Maintain entries for respective accounts in CRM system and other sales reporting tools
