Requirements
- 7+ years in medical coding.
- 3+ years in a leadership or management role.
- Home health and/or hospice experience.
- Active credential (HCS-D, HCS-H, BCHH-C, CCS, CPC, COC, or CDIP).
- Deep PDGM and hospice coding expertise.
- Fluent command of ICD-10-CM guidelines and OASIS implications.
- Track record leading large coding teams and coding quality programs.
- Experience advising enterprise clients.
- Strong data instincts and experience with performance metrics.
- Comfort in a tech-first, fast-moving environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead a large team of expert-level certified coders.
- Partner with enterprise customers as their coding-quality advisor.
- Own coding accuracy, PDGM and hospice coding integrity, and OASIS-coding alignment.
- Partner with product and engineering to continuously improve coding accuracy and workflows.
- Strengthen quality and review frameworks to turn coder corrections into model gains.
- Set and report on coding KPIs for internal and customer-facing reviews.
- Translate regulatory changes and CMS guidance into workflow rules.
- Serve as the subject-matter expert for customers and internal teams.
