Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Account management and project/program management experience.
- Deep knowledge of Linux systems administration (Ubuntu/RHEL).
- Deep knowledge of Kubernetes and cloud-native operations.
- Deep knowledge of OpenStack or private cloud infrastructure.
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies (KVM/QEMU/libvirt).
- Knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, routing, switching, DNS/DHCP).
- Knowledge of storage integrations (Ceph, iSCSI/NFS).
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform/Ansible).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Responsibilities
- Own technical relationship and outcomes for a portfolio of enterprise customers, acting as the primary technical point-of-contact.
- Identify, manage, and drive resolution of critical technical issues (escalations) and customer-impacting risks.
- Monitor and manage open cases during business hours.
- Perform environment assessments, architecture reviews, and operational readiness checks.
- Plan and guide lifecycle activities including upgrades, patching, and capacity planning.
- Proactively analyze risk using known issues and release notes.
- Monitor customer environments using telemetry to identify trends and optimization opportunities.
- Ensure adherence to best practices for reliability, security, and performance.
- Prepare and deliver periodic reports including incident postmortems and health checks.
- Educate customers on tools, workflows, and operational patterns.
