Requirements
- High School diploma or GED.
- Current Missouri Pharmacy Technician license in good standing.
- Minimum of 2 years relevant experience (specialty pharmacy preferred).
- Basic working knowledge of email, Word, and general computing.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality.
- Ability to learn internal systems, processes and programs.
- Problem solving and basic math skills.
- Strong time management skills.
- Cable broadband or fiber optic internet with at least 10Mbps down/5Mbps up.
Responsibilities
- Contact doctors and/or patients regarding need for complete and accurate information for prescription processing.
- Complete data entry of prescriptions after reviewing for completeness and accuracy.
- Work with pharmacists per work instructions, policy and procedures, management direction or any national or state regulations.
- Complete training on Risk Evaluation and Mitigations Strategies (REMS) program requirements.
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) and assist with questions/issues for team members.
- Assist with training of newly hired pharmacy technicians.
- Perform other assigned duties and cross-training.
