Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or related field or equivalent industry experience.
- 0-1+ years of experience in inside sales or business development, preferably in academic, life sciences, or biotechnology industries.
- Adept at identifying ideal customer profiles and researching leads.
- Skilled at uncovering customer needs and pain points.
- Proficiency in following established sales methodologies and managing the sales cycle.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and sales tools.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Fluency in English.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute independent lead generation strategies using research techniques.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to leverage targeted campaigns and optimize lead flow.
- Manage lead generation and qualification for Chromium, Visium, and Xenium platforms.
- Track and report on cross-functional initiatives to drive revenue.
- Foster relationships and coordinate handoffs with cross-functional departments.
- Update the CRM system with accurate opportunity and pipeline information.
- Support the commercial organization in improving sales cycle time.
