Requirements
- Law degree (JD or equivalent) from a top law school.
- Active license to practice and member of good standing in New York.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience as a practicing attorney.
- Strong preference for drafting and negotiating business contracts.
- SaaS background preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and independently.
Responsibilities
- Develop contract negotiation and drafting skills to close deals.
- Guide SpendHound commercial teams through the deal lifecycle.
- Navigate new problems and conceive novel contracting frameworks for creative sales ideas.
- Enhance processes, efficiency, and best practices.
- Build out contract management platforms.
- Collaborate with the SpendHound team to facilitate contract reviews.
- Evaluate and advise on appropriate legal courses of action.
