Requirements
- JD or equivalent degree from a top law school.
- Active license to practice law and in good standing in New York.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience as a practicing attorney at a law firm or in-house.
- Strong drafting, negotiating, and redlining skills.
- Experience with commercial contracts and financial/commercial issues.
- Stellar attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional work.
- Ability to thrive in unknown, fast-paced environments.
- SaaS background preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop contract negotiation and drafting skills to close deals.
- Guide SpendHound commercial teams through the deal lifecycle, from NDAs through closing.
- Navigate new problems and conceive novel contracting frameworks for creative sales ideas.
- Enhance processes, efficiency, and best practices for contract management.
- Collaborate with the SpendHound team to facilitate contract reviews and internal processes.
- Evaluate and advise on legal courses of action to meet business unit needs.
