Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within United States Coast Guard markets.
- Experience supporting longer-term government pursuits.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proficient in Google Suite.
- Understanding and experience with NetSuite or equivalent ERP software.
- Proficient in Salesforce.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to travel at least 50% of the time.
- Familiarity with United States Coast Guard mission areas, systems, or operational environments preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with US Coast Guard program offices and stakeholders.
- Engage customers to understand mission needs and capability gaps.
- Promote company products, services, and solutions.
- Hold customer meetings, briefings, and capability demos.
- Develop and execute business development plans.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Identify, qualify, and develop near and long-term sales opportunities.
- Conduct market, customer, and competitive research.
- Represent company at trade shows and industry days.
