Requirements
- Current undergraduate or graduate student or recent graduate
- Pursuing a degree in an environmental, economic, energy, data, or related field
- Curiosity about utilities, energy efficiency, sustainability, or the broader energy industry
- Strong attention to detail
- Solid research, critical-thinking, and organizational skills
- Clear written and verbal communication
- Coursework or project experience involving data entry, data manipulation, or basic analysis
- Experience with SQL, Python, or R
- Experience with Excel, Power BI, or Tableau
- Prior exposure to the utility, energy, or sustainability sectors
Responsibilities
- Update and populate E Source data tools with thorough, accurate information after receiving training.
- Support research requests from utility clients and internal teams, including contributions to reports, articles, and webinars.
- Organize, evaluate, and interpret quantitative and qualitative data drawn from primary and secondary sources.
- Help document analytical procedures and suggest improvements to data workflows.
- Collaborate with analysts and subject-matter experts to translate findings into clear written and visual summaries.
