Requirements
- Demonstrated proficiency with Ardour and/or LMMS in a professional or semi-professional environment.
- Solid understanding of audio editing, mixing, and music production workflows.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, capable of explaining creative choices clearly.
- Proven experience in constructing tracks or mixes from the ground up, including layering and fine-tuning sounds.
- A detail-focused mindset with a dedication to producing high-quality audio materials.
- Comfortable working independently within a remote team setting.
- Flexibility in adapting to new challenges or unexpected changes during the production process.
Responsibilities
- Produce, edit, and mix multi-track audio projects using Ardour or LMMS as your main digital audio workstation (DAW).
- Record your authentic workflow by completing realistic audio production sessions, progressing from initial concept to final polished mix.
- Showcase your creative process, including experimentation, trial and error, and making real-time adjustments.
- Layer and enhance sound elements, applying professional techniques to achieve dynamic and captivating results.
- Clearly communicate important decisions and their reasoning through both written summaries and verbal discussions.
- Work remotely in collaboration with the customer's team to achieve project objectives and provide feedback on ongoing sessions.
- Guarantee the final production adheres to industry standards for audio quality and artistic integrity.
