Requirements

  • 4+ years of advanced customer-facing technical support experience
  • Experience with MySQL or MySQL-like databases
  • Strong proficiency in SQL Query Optimization
  • Hands-on experience with Linux administration
  • Comfortable checking system I/O, network throughput, and log files
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes
  • Experience with a scripting or coding language (Python, Bash, or Go)
  • Familiarity with distributed systems and AWS/GCP
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Provide email and live technical support to enterprise customers
  • Identify and reproduce product issues and perform QA
  • Submit formal bug reports or feature requests to Engineering
  • Collaborate with developers, sales engineers, and account managers
  • Streamline Support and Engineering processes and tools
  • Author internal run-books or public documentation
  • Ensure a positive customer support experience
  • Participate in an on-call rotation
