Requirements

  • Advanced Linux/Debian system administration (systemd, ip, tcpdump, OpenSSL).
  • Strong networking protocol knowledge (BGP, OSPF, MPLS, EVPN/VXLAN, ACLs, QoS).
  • Experience with hypervisors (KVM, ESXi, Proxmox) and cloud networking.
  • Practical Python scripting for automation, REST APIs, and log parsing.
  • Familiarity with Git workflows and Markdown.
  • Fluent English communication skills.
  • Proven experience in using AI.
  • Ability to work afternoon shifts and on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary escalation point for L1–L2 on severe/complex issues.
  • Triage incoming issues and lead deep-dive troubleshooting across Linux, networking, and APIs.
  • Analyze traffic flows, routing decisions, and protocol behavior.
  • Resolve parsing and mapping issues from CLI outputs.
  • Own and evolve support tooling through design and code reviews.
  • Mentor L1–L2 engineers and contribute to onboarding.
  • Create and maintain documentation and knowledge base.
  • Participate in afternoon shift rotation to support US customers.
