Requirements
- 7+ years of product engineering expertise.
- 4+ years dedicated to architecting complex payments systems.
- Proven track record within a PSP, acquirer, gateway, or high-scale platform payments team.
- Deep expertise in settlement processes, reconciliation, dispute management, 3DS2 protocols, and PCI compliance.
- Strong backend mastery in Ruby on Rails, Kotlin, Python, Go, Java, or Node.js.
- Full-stack comfort with React.
- Deep expertise in distributed systems, double-entry ledgers, and money movement state machines.
- Direct production on-call experience.
- Strong background in cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP), containerization, and CI/CD.
Responsibilities
- Lead payments projects end-to-end: discovery, design, build, rollout, and incident response.
- Partner with the Product team to build payment solutions.
- Own the reliability of the payments system.
- Contribute to engineering practices and excellence.
- Mentor and train others on AI concepts and tools.
- Handle FX and multi-currency logic within the application layer.
