Responsibilities

  • Place outbound calls to insurance carriers and navigate payer phone systems
  • Verify active coverage and obtain detailed benefits information
  • Accurately document all information obtained during calls
  • Interpret call outcomes and apply decision criteria to move cases
  • Identify discrepancies between payer-reported benefits and information on file
  • Meet daily productivity and quality standards
  • Maintain working knowledge of insurance terminology and plan types
