Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in commercial finance, deal desk, revenue operations, or strategic finance.
  • At least 5 years with direct ownership over deal structuring or commercial agreements.
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate complex deal economics independently.
  • Ability to build defensible financial models.
  • Strong understanding of revenue recognition and accrual accounting.
  • Operational knowledge of commercial deal management.
  • Exceptional judgment and ability to hold a position under commercial pressure.
  • Excellent communicator with experience presenting to CXO-level audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as DRI for all revenue adjustments in weekly reporting.
  • Maintain active reconciliation checks and ensure adjustments are accurate.
  • Work proactively with cross-functional partners to incorporate new intel before weekly close.
  • Lead weekly alignment meetings with the FP&A team.
  • Maintain and enforce the Deal Desk approval matrix.
  • Own the commercial logic underlying deal structures.
  • Lead upfront diligence and financial modeling for non-standard deals.
  • Monitor cash flows and financial commitments on structured deals.
  • Lead accrual review for key Deal Desk items.
  • Manage a Senior Analyst, providing mentorship and prioritization.
