Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building and shipping production backend systems.
- Track record of owning critical services end to end.
- Comfort with Typescript or Javascript.
- Deep experience building web-scale applications.
- Hands-on experience building authentication, authorization, identity, permissions, or security platform infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of API design.
- Understanding of distributed systems and databases.
- Understanding of operational reliability.
- Strong sense of ownership and urgency.
Responsibilities
- Help build the foundation for secure access at Owner.
- Design and improve authentication and authorization systems.
- Own critical auth infrastructure end to end including login, sessions, token management, and service-to-service auth.
- Improve reliability and observability through alerting, dashboards, and runbooks.
- Identify risks and improve security controls.
- Leverage AI tools for code development and automation.
- Interview candidates and contribute to team building.
