Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- 3+ years of accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, including fixed assets and reserves.
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems.
- Experience with system implementations or ERP enhancements.
- Proven ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify issues and implement solutions.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of assigned accounting areas, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
- Prepare and post journal entries, including complex and non-routine transactions.
- Perform monthly account reconciliations and investigate/resolve discrepancies.
- Execute and help drive the month-end close process.
- Review and analyze financial statements to identify errors or inconsistencies.
- Apply capitalization policies, including fixed asset tracking.
- Support or lead ERP system implementations, enhancements, and NetSuite optimization.
- Maintain and improve accounting workflows to increase efficiency and strengthen internal controls.
- Partner with FP&A to support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Support audits by preparing schedules and documentation.
