Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of related accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting.
- Advanced Excel skills (e.g., XLOOKUP, PivotTables, Dynamic Arrays, Power Query).
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- CPA designation or progress towards CPA strongly preferred.
- Prior public accounting experience preferred.
- Big 4 experience in audit or tax preferred.
- Experience with enterprise software (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle, Workday) preferred.
Responsibilities
- Execute monthly close processes, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and workpapers.
- Manage focus areas including Revenue, Accounts Receivable, Customer on Account, and Security Deposits.
- Identify and implement automation and process improvements within the ERP system.
- Perform fluctuation and variance analysis to facilitate accurate financial reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data completeness and accuracy.
- Assist with annual audits and tax compliance preparation.
- Document internal controls and operational processes to ensure repeatability.
- Contribute to strategic initiatives to support company growth and scalability.
