Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Technical Account Management, or similar customer-facing technical role
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud in technical or architectural contexts
- Azure 900 certification required
- AWS or GCP certifications are a plus
- Familiarity with APIs, modern cloud architectures, and common system design patterns
- Strong ability to communicate technical concepts to both engineering and business stakeholder with confidence and charisma
- Must know how and when to listen to customers in order to identify pain points and become a trusted advisor
- Understanding of cloud economics, FinOps principles, and the financial aspects of infrastructure decisions is highly desirable
- Customer-focused mindset with strong curiosity and a drive to continuously learn and improve
Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical subject matter expert in customer engagements, leading discovery conversations that uncover technical and financial pain points
- Ask thoughtful, targeted questions and actively listen to customer responses to identify underlying challenges and opportunities
- Create and lead tailored technical demos, product walkthroughs, installs, and platform enablement sessions based on customer needs
- Translate customer infrastructure and cloud usage patterns into clear, relevant Archera platform solutions and value narratives
- Support proof-of-concept engagements and guide customers through evaluating the operational and financial impact of Archera’s platform
- Partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, Alliance, and Partner teams to move deals forward and ensure technical alignment throughout the sales cycle
- Build trusted relationships with engineering, DevOps, FinOps, and finance stakeholders by demonstrating both technical expertise and strong communication skills
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing teams to relay customer feedback and influence ongoing product development
