Requirements
- 15+ years of legal practice.
- Demonstrated success as in-house counsel or at a top law firm.
- Significant experience as General Counsel or senior legal leader in high-growth SaaS or tech.
- Experience as GC or CLO at a publicly-traded company, preferably leading through an IPO.
- Proven track record in M&A lifecycle and integration.
- Deep familiarity with employment law and human capital management.
- Experience leading legal operations for companies with significant international operations.
- J.D. with excellent academic credentials.
- State bar member in good standing in a state where Arcadia does business.
- Demonstrated ability to provide streamlined, actionable legal advice.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Sales and Product teams to streamline the Lead-to-Cash process.
- Lead negotiations for high-stakes SaaS contracts, IP licensing, and technology transactions.
- Establish standardized contract playbooks and self-service legal tools.
- Provide legal support for fundraising, acquisitions, and partnerships.
- Lead legal harmonization of newly acquired entities.
- Serve as Corporate Secretary and primary liaison to the Board.
- Prepare the company for future capital events and IPO readiness.
- Partner with the People Team on sensitive employee relations and executive compensation.
- Direct compliance across data privacy, cybersecurity, and industry regulations.
- Oversee litigation and optimize outside counsel spend.
