Requirements
- 15+ years of legal practice.
- Significant time as General Counsel or senior legal leader in a high-growth SaaS or tech environment.
- Experience as GC or CLO at a publicly-traded company, preferably through an IPO.
- Proven track record of leading M&A legal work streams.
- Deep familiarity with employment law.
- Background in leading legal operations with international subsidiaries.
- J.D. with excellent academic credentials.
- State bar member in good standing in a state where Arcadia does business.
- Strong commercial mindset and practical business-oriented approach.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Sales and Product teams to streamline the Lead-to-Cash process.
- Lead negotiations for high-stakes SaaS contracts, IP licensing, and technology transactions.
- Establish standardized contract playbooks and self-service legal tools.
- Provide legal support for fundraising, acquisitions, and partnerships.
- Lead post-acquisition legal harmonization and consolidation of IP.
- Serve as Corporate Secretary and primary liaison to the Board.
- Prepare the company for future capital events and IPO readiness.
- Serve as legal architect for employee relations and executive compensation.
- Oversee corporate compliance, including data privacy (GDPR/CCPA) and cybersecurity.
- Oversee litigation and optimize outside counsel spend.
