- Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
- Current license or qualification to practice law in California.
- Ability to balance risk-taking with responsible development.
- Experience working with marketing, creative, communications, and product teams.
- Strong communication skills and ability to simplify complex legal issues.
- Demonstrated sound judgment in ambiguous, fast-moving situations.
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary counsel for marketing and brand teams.
- Partner with cross-functional teams on global campaigns across digital, print, and social media.
- Advise on advertising, endorsements, and consumer protection regulations.
- Provide legal counsel on FTC, state UDAP, CAN-SPAM, TCPA, and EU/UK marketing standards.
- Review and approve marketing claims, campaign materials, and product launch assets.
- Develop strategies to address legal risks in creative ways.
- Build processes for scaling flexible legal solutions.
