Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience as a Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or equivalent role
  • Proven experience managing complex, multi-phase projects through the full lifecycle
  • Strong understanding of large-scale hosting, IaaS, datacenter outsourcing, and hybrid IT solutions
  • Expertise across hosting technologies including compute, storage, backup, networking, security, disaster recovery, DevOps, and IT governance
  • Experience engaging in executive- and senior-level technical discussions
  • Strong documentation skills with the ability to clearly capture solution architectures and technical decisions
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to remain resourceful, confident, and effective under pressure
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Sales and Consulting partners to develop pursuit, solution, and sales strategies for large, global client accounts
  • Lead discovery and assessment workshops to identify client needs, opportunities, and transformation roadmaps
  • Design, document, and present complex hybrid IT, cloud, and hosting solutions that meet both technical and business requirements
  • Present solutions and business cases to diverse audiences, including executive and senior leadership stakeholders
  • Gain executive-level buy-in by confidently positioning complex, multi-disciplinary solutions
  • Act as a trusted advisor by providing recommendations based on deep technical expertise and prior experience
  • Partner with Product Management to influence product enhancements and technology roadmap decisions
  • Lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams throughout the engagement lifecycle
  • Drive stability, innovation, and modernization across clients’ current and future-state environments
  • Support business development by identifying, pursuing, and closing strategic opportunities and expanding existing accounts
