Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- At least 7 years of experience in corporate accounting, payroll accounting, and related roles
- Preferred 2 years of Big 4 public accounting experience
- Software and SaaS industry experience preferred
- In-depth knowledge of GAAP and month-end close processes
- Experience in an international multi-entity environment
- Strong time management and project management skills
- Advanced MS Excel skills, proficiency in MS Office and G-Suite
- Demonstrated analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks
- Familiarity with systems such as NetSuite, SAP S/4Hana, Bill.com, ADP Workforce Now, and Deel
Responsibilities
- Manage outsourced payroll providers across multiple geographies (e.g., US, APAC, EMEA)
- Ensure timely and accurate recording of payroll-related journal entries
- Own reconciliation of payroll-related accounts (payroll accruals, bonuses, commissions, taxes)
- Monitor compliance with local payroll tax regulations and labor laws with external payroll assistance
- Manage payment processes to employees, payroll providers, and tax authorities
- Support 401k administration
- Facilitate responses to employee inquiries regarding payroll
- Manage global equity administration, especially in Carta
- Ensure accounting and reporting accuracy of stock-based compensation and equity transactions
- Collaborate with People Operations and Legal on equity transactions
