Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • At least 7 years of experience in corporate accounting, payroll accounting, and related roles
  • Preferred 2 years of Big 4 public accounting experience
  • Software and SaaS industry experience preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of GAAP and month-end close processes
  • Experience in an international multi-entity environment
  • Strong time management and project management skills
  • Advanced MS Excel skills, proficiency in MS Office and G-Suite
  • Demonstrated analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks
  • Familiarity with systems such as NetSuite, SAP S/4Hana, Bill.com, ADP Workforce Now, and Deel

Responsibilities

  • Manage outsourced payroll providers across multiple geographies (e.g., US, APAC, EMEA)
  • Ensure timely and accurate recording of payroll-related journal entries
  • Own reconciliation of payroll-related accounts (payroll accruals, bonuses, commissions, taxes)
  • Monitor compliance with local payroll tax regulations and labor laws with external payroll assistance
  • Manage payment processes to employees, payroll providers, and tax authorities
  • Support 401k administration
  • Facilitate responses to employee inquiries regarding payroll
  • Manage global equity administration, especially in Carta
  • Ensure accounting and reporting accuracy of stock-based compensation and equity transactions
  • Collaborate with People Operations and Legal on equity transactions
