Requirements

  • 12+ years of HR experience, related business industry experience, or leading teams with HR-related functions, or a combination of related experience/education.
  • 6+ years of experience in an HR Business Partner or People Partner role or equivalent, supporting managers and directors.
  • Demonstrated experience operating as an independent contractor or consultant in an HR/People Partner capacity preferred.
  • Prior experience supporting Insurance Underwriting, Claims, Customer Service/Support or Operations.
  • Prior experience supporting Sales, Marketing, or Business Development.
  • Prior experience supporting Engineering, Product Development, or Technology.
  • Proficient in Workday.
  • Proficient in Slack.
  • Proficient in Google Suite.
  • Experience with Greenhouse preferred.
  • Experience with Culture Amp preferred.
  • Knowledge of incentive plan design is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Translate defined business priorities into actionable people strategies that support culture, team performance, and business outcomes.
  • Partner with managers and directors to assess current-state people needs and provide recommendations on organizational design, talent management, and performance development.
  • Support planning and execution of organizational changes, including team restructures, leadership transitions, and People & Talent program rollouts.
  • Advise on team member relations matters including performance management, conflict resolution, and employee development.
  • Partner with leaders to identify skill gaps and recommend development approaches.
  • Provide advisory support on performance management processes, helping leaders drive development, engagement, and results.
  • Support execution of team member engagement strategies in coordination with the People team.
  • Utilize Pie’s HR systems (Workday, Greenhouse, Culture Amp, Google Suite, Slack) as needed to complete scoped deliverables.
  • Leverage data and reporting to support program delivery and provide analysis within the defined scope of work.
